Decree A Thing

DECREE A THING AND IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED

Let us rise up in this hour and be focused on a “new thing.” We assuredly have entered into a new season and year.

May we truly be the salt of the earth. Are you salty? To be salty in the positive sense reflects upon being part of an elite group of people representative of the best and noblest elements of society. I desire to be “salty.” How about you?

As children of God, those mighty in the Lord’s Army, we are to be walking illustrations of great worth and reliability. The forerunners are here, ready to prepare the way of the Lord and of His return. They had been feasting on locusts and wild honey in the wilderness for much of their lives, absorbed in learning personally from the Holy Spirit as many of today’s churches had failed to provide the proper nourishment.

From our mother’s womb, we have been “set apart” for the assignment of our life; that is now. Being of a unique and chosen nation established for this moment of history, are imparted of great worth are also equipped with the five-fold garments and of the whole armor of God as written in Ephesians.

Nothing is impossible to those who believe.

Joshua, was a mighty General who took command, and received the promises land. In the Old Testament, he was scribed as “Possessing The Inheritance.” The date was 1400-1375 B.C. A key word applied to this Book of Joshua, is:

Obedience, Covenant, Courage

Therefore, advance forward with boldness and of authority to possess the land that is your inheritance. How many of you been standing on your promises of the “promised land?”

Don’t give up when you are on the threshold of a miracle. Continue to be courageous, faithful, steadfast and strong in Spirit. Be obedient to the Lord in every step of your walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You are part of the new covenant; our portion is in Him.

The children of Israel after wandering forty years in the desert were finally to embark upon their destiny. One condition was that they remain faithful.

Faithful.

Faith That Moves Mountains.

Let us decree and declare the blessings of God move in our lives as we are faithful to Him, the lover of our life, a very purpose of our being. Give glory unto Him firstly as is due, and see things manifest at an accelerating move in this unique period of time.

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints (NKJV)

The phrase ‘the salt of the earth’ derives from the Bible, Matthew 5:13 (King James Version):

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, where with shall it be salted? it is thence forth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. “

His Eye Is Upon The Sparrow

His Eye Is Upon The Sparrow

About nine at night, the son and I were walking on a path where all we carried was a little flashlight on a moonless night save house lights appearing only from a distance as liken to lightning bugs illuminating a dark sky. We were not afraid, as we had prayed that Jesus would walk with us. During our power walk, we discussed about God’s place in our world. The son wanted to know how God could allow innocent people to suffer and die, if He loved his children so much. I did not know what to say to this young man who was struggling with his faith. I continued to point out God’s many small miracles within our own family. I told him that God approaches all of us on different levels and in different ways, depending on the level our faith. As we concluded our walk in the dark, we parted ways for a bit. As I sat on the outside steps, upon looking at the stars in the sky, an eye appeared in the sky. At that moment, I knew, that our beloved God never takes his eye off of his little sparrow, for even a moment. For a moment in time, his love shone upon me as I realized how very important even my mundane life and issues are important to him. For a moment in time, his eye was upon me…

I believe this to be testimony of a prophetic reminder liken to signs and wonders appearing on the earth, that even though the world and the days may be dark, God is faithful to watch over His people.

What comes to mind is “His eye is upon the sparrow.”

The expression, “His eye is on the sparrow” is meant to be a reminder for us in this hour that God watches over people even in times of trouble or persecution.

Fear God Alone
…28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.… (Matthew 10:28-30)

Job 12:7-10 7
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: 8Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. 9Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? 10In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. (KJV)

Matthew 6:25-32 25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Let Us Sing:

His Eye Is Upon The Sparrow

Why should I be discouraged and why should the shadows fall?
Why should my heart be lonely and long for heaven and home?
When Jesus is my portion, my constant Friend is He,
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy;
I sing because I’m free;
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me.

Let not your heart be troubled; these tender words I hear;
And resting on his goodness I lose my doubts and fears;
For by the path He leadeth but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy;
I sing because I’m free;
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted; whenever clouds arise;
When songs give place to sighing; when hope within me dies;
I draw the closer to Him; from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy;
I sing because I’m free;
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me…
