MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT WEIGHT ~ DO NOT JUDGE!

By Rita Kay Whitt aka pearls of wisdom aka WHITTness For Christ 2019

Misconceptions about weight. Through Art; animated, raising Awareness of Lymphedema and Lipedema that is real and the mental/emotional/spiritual implications of this upon a person’s life and relationships. We all have dreams that we desire to obtain; for some, it is difficult when there are seemingly too many “issues” loaded down on one’s plate.

In this artwork of mine, I show the following: Bertha, due to genetic fat jeans(genes) desires fitness and goal of Body Builder. Problem: She is lazy and a foodie. [This is a misconception, as Lymphedema and Lipedema are not related to laziness and food eating, although can compound it.] Babe ala’ Butte, her opposite sister remains lean at the cost of fanatic exercise and vegetarianism and strives for the Miss Body Builder role. Again, being fanatic can label someone as “self” as in the “selfie movement,” or lover of self. Bubbly Bubbles, a jolly gal longs to be a Top Chef, but sometimes nibbles on her tasty delights she prepares. Bambi, a whiz-kid, but chubby child sadly misses her dad. He broke up from her mom because of her weight issues. Dad moved on to be with a Marilyn Monroe(visa) type individual. [Scenerio: not based on self; just inspired].

No one knows really what is going on inside a man or woman’s heart, but the Lord Jesus. He sees their heart, and does not look upon the exterior appearance. Unfortunately, man does. If we could just not judge by appearance but see into someones heart, like the Lord does, there would be more love; more peace. Love one another as Jesus Christ loves His church. Come on, church! We are living in pressing times. Time to wake from slumber and be accepting and love one another. We do not know the shoes the other person is wearing unless we step into them; and again, we do not wear their skin.

How about those of us that avoid viewing ourselves in the mirror because of the propensity to compare according to societal correctness.

That’s correct we should love the heart not the face.
