His Eye Is Upon The Sparrow
About nine at night, the son and I were walking on a path where all we carried was a little flashlight on a moonless night save house lights appearing only from a distance as liken to lightning bugs illuminating a dark sky. We were not afraid, as we had prayed that Jesus would walk with us. During our power walk, we discussed about God’s place in our world. The son wanted to know how God could allow innocent people to suffer and die, if He loved his children so much. I did not know what to say to this young man who was struggling with his faith. I continued to point out God’s many small miracles within our own family. I told him that God approaches all of us on different levels and in different ways, depending on the level our faith. As we concluded our walk in the dark, we parted ways for a bit. As I sat on the outside steps, upon looking at the stars in the sky, an eye appeared in the sky. At that moment, I knew, that our beloved God never takes his eye off of his little sparrow, for even a moment. For a moment in time, his love shone upon me as I realized how very important even my mundane life and issues are important to him. For a moment in time, his eye was upon me…

I believe this to be testimony of a prophetic reminder liken to signs and wonders appearing on the earth, that even though the world and the days may be dark, God is faithful to watch over His people.
What comes to mind is “His eye is upon the sparrow.”
The expression, “His eye is on the sparrow” is meant to be a reminder for us in this hour that God watches over people even in times of trouble or persecution.
