I found this rock when walking a a portion of the Scuppernong Springs Nature Trail at the Kettle Moraine State Forest ~ Southern Unit on Mother’s Day in 2017. The name Scuppernong comes from a Ho Chunk word meaning “sweet scented land.”
“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning, I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.” (Lam. 3:23-25) (NLT)
