MAKE FIRE! MAKE FIRE! MAKE FIRE!
When my daughter Angelica was a baby, I would rub the soles of her feet together and proclaim, “Make fire! Make fire! Make fire!” She would respond with laughter.
In Romans Chapter 10 verse 15 says,
15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,[a]
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”[b] (NKJV)
The name Angelica means, “God’s Messenger.” I named her that because I was visited by an angel unawares in 1988.
__________
ANGEL UNAWARES
When I was in my late 20’s, I was trying to conceive a child, but after testing realized the possibility of being barren due to a diagnosis of Endometriosis, of which in my later years lost female organs due to a severe infection leading to sepsis.
Anyway, one day, an elderly woman came to my door; she was wearing clothing in layers and appeared homeless. I invited her into my town house, devoid of furniture, save a three-legged couch someone dropped off at my door. I had a brick or two placed to hold the couch up. The woman was carrying a black garbage bag. She sat down on my used three-legged couch. In the meantime, I was in the kitchen holding onto her used garbage bag; collecting my saved soda cans that I was going to redeem for money to buy food and give to this woman who asked for soda cans. Her plastic bag exploded onto my clean kitchen floor. I cleaned up the liquid mess, while providing her with a new bag for her existing cans including my own.
In the meantime, the stranger asked me three questions. The first was, “Do you believe in God?” I answered her with, Yes”. Then she asked, “Do you believe in Jesus Christ?” I answered, “Yes.” Afterwards she said, “Do you believe He is coming soon?” Again, I said to her, “Yes.”
I gave this woman all my soda cans that I was going to redeem. She left my home fully bagged up. I watched her walk away, and then, seemingly disappeared. A feeling rose up in me and the thought of being visited by an angel unawares.

1”Continue in brotherly love. 2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. 3Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them.…” Hebrews 13:2
__________
FORERUNNERS
John The Baptist, was a forerunner who came to prepare the way of the Lord. In Matthew Chapter 3 and verse 3 it says,
3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight.’”[a]
In this hour, the Lord has His forerunners, a type of John The Baptist, and other ministers of the Apostolic, Prophetic, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.
We are called to be on fire: fiery, hot, full of burning zeal.
25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, … Acts 18:25
PROPHETIC ACT
When I rubbed the soles of my daughter’s feet together, it was a prophetic action, proclaiming to “Make fire! Make fire! Make fire!” This act was to announce the coming of souls for Jesus Christ reached through a willing and fervent spirit for God.
Men and women need to be set on fire for the Word with their tongues. There needs to be a fiery witness to preach the Word in Apostolic Power and Evangelism to Preach the Gospel.
