THE WHITE WAY TO DELIGHT!

The word delight means “to gain great pleasure, satisfaction, and happiness.”

Psalm 37:4
4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. ESV

The greatest pleasure we can experience in life is walking hand in hand with a Father who adores us.

Chara: Joy: Delight:
Cognate: 5479 xará (another feminine noun from the root xar-, “extend favor, lean towards, be favorably disposed”) – properly, the awareness (of God’s) grace, favor; joy (“grace recognized”).

Isaiah 41:13
13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ NKJV

Firstly, picture a woman in Christ that is on her walk, in her life, clothed in a long blue gown, the color deep and rich. Her sleeves are that of a choir robe, and the neckline patterned into a “V”. I like to think this means she is ~ during her lifetime, on her spiritual walk, in the “spiritual race” and will be victorious in reaching that goal of the spiritual prize of the high calling. Therefore, with many songs on her heart, carrying both the “Logos” and “Rhema” Word of God within her heart, she continues her journey. She is not alone, however; God is always with her.

The days are beautiful. The sun shines high in the heavens. She feels the sun rays touch her face. The feeling is of excitement and happiness surfacing. On this spiritual walk of her lifetime, the woman begins to understand her destiny and calling in her life. It is becoming revealed of her identity in Jesus Christ.

The gloomy days of long winter months arrived. She kept trudging through the endless days and nights. Angelina, the woman in Christ realized she needed more than the garment she wore. Along the journey came not surprising a gift, from The Holy Spirit; it was armor she was to wear along her walk.

She had to put on The Full Armor of Christ.

THE ARMOR OF GOD

The Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-18

“10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God,so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. “

SUPERNATURAL REALM

How about walking in the supernatural realm, of insight where Jesus, Our Messiah is walking hand in hand through a lovely snow-covered canopy of trees?

The Bride is arrayed in a long white gown flowing with the petticoat circular and full. Her bodice and its seam is embroidered with gold velvet trim with its length reaching the hem. The gold symbolic of The Glory of The Lord and His Power. Her sleeves are long, and full like trumpets from elbow to her hands. The trumpets symbolizing her voice in service to Her Master. Her hands are readying to the full work of servitude. She is wearing a crown, Her King bestowed upon her, His beloved. On her ears, she is wearing a set of white pearl earrings. His pearl of great price. He paid a great price for His Bride.

The King of Kings is now walking along with her on this long canopy of trees covered by white snow. Each tree is representative of an Oak of Righteousness, watching her on this journey with Her Beloved. They clap their hands.

12″For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12

THE VERY ELECT

The trees are liken to the very elect that had gone on before her into glory land; a beautiful paradise called Heaven that awaits His Bride. She had gone through the wilderness as described in The Song of Solomon, and now is entering into the time and chamber with Her Beloved.

He smiles at her. The smile of The King of Kings is dazzling, his teeth so perfect and white as of light itself. Let there be light! He said, Light Be! He laughs with her and enjoys this walk with His Bride to be. It is snowing. All around her is snowflakes swirling and twirling like Christmas ballerinas dancing a prophetic dance each unique in their own design before The King. The atmosphere is very electric, every dancing snowflake bringing many spectrum of colors into the light with resounding music familiar to the beating of His Heart. Oh, the glory!

______

DELIGHT IN THE LORD!

When we delight in the Lord what we desire is the Lord — to keep beholding his glory, worshiping his majesty, seeing his beauty!

So when we delight in the Lord, the desires that we have in our hearts are desires for the Lord. So what Psalm 37:5 means is that if we delight in the Lord, he will satisfy our desires for him, by giving us more joy in him!
______

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Romans 8:32

10 I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise To spring up before all the nations. Isaiah 61:10-11

3Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. 4Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. 5Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.… Psalm 34:3-5
